So yesterday I went food shopping with her indoors & Jr Centurion at the Marquis of Sainsbury store (we had vouchers).

Sensing that Jr was getting bored & her indoors getting ratty & irrational, I suggested I take Jr to Pets at Home (or whatever it's called) across the car park, to which there was much jolly cheering.

Off we went *with a trumpets trump* & immediately once inside I was struck or should I say awestruck with one of the most beautiful German Shepherd pup's I have ever seen.

I tried to have a short polite tete a tete with it's owner, a less chatty lady about her pup, just wanted to know if it was from a K.C breeder & where she acquired it as it might be useful for when I am ready.
All I could get was that it was a pedigree from a breeder in Farnworth.

Since then I have had GSD's on the brain, in fact they have been on my mind for years but I feel it would be unfair to jump in just now as I need ...
A) a bigger house with a garden &
B) a bigger car

So much of my Easter weekend downtime has been spent trawling the Web looking for GSD breeders in my local & surrounding areas who I might visit for info & possibly go onto a waiting list for next year's litters.

I have found a GSD Club in Bolton but not sure yet if it is still active.

Anyway, my original intended point is that last night I was quite restless & did find myself dreaming about GSD pup's.

Is this just too weird ?

Yes! Definitely bonkers! But I assume you have had a puppy before so you know what you are letting yourself in for. I was new to the whole lark when we got a Manchester Terrier pup last year. Admittedly they aren't the easiest of breeds but I have to be honest and say that had I known the time (and pee and poo!) involved I wouldn't have got a puppy (or perhaps not even got a dog at all!). He is now 10 months and has settled down considerably but I still find my time is no longer my own. Its like having a kid again. I can't just decide to go out all day unless I take him with me or someone is here for at least some of the time, for example. Maybe what I'm saying is taboo - its like saying I don't like my own kid or something!

Good afternoon Tea people. I've had my moan of the day! The sun is now shining and the dog is asleep. ^_^
