Just don't blink, or you might miss it.

It will be an interesting contrast for us when we return in May. How will a British/Irish summer stack up against winter in Cyprus? We are expecting to be more disappointed than usual - since last October it has been rare to wake up to a wet day and It's starting to get quite dry/hot nowadays.

Yip, been up a while, laundry and shopping done. Now it's a cold drink and fruit for lunch before setting off for a hike in the baking sun. I'll be heading up the hill over the local ruins today - should take 2 - 2.5 hours.

Should be a good night at the karaoke later. It's Independence Day tomorrow so tonight is the start of a long week-end. Tonight we'll be in a bar full of Cypriots singing Greek songs to celebrate liberation from the English - somehow most of that has a familiar ring to it!!
