Attended my Grandpapy's funeral today. Sadly, I never had much of a connection with him. My dad would never really talk about him a lot so I ended up knowing very little about him. He would have still been around today if he hadnt had a stroke, For the last 5 or 6 years hes more less been absolutely bedridden which is no way to live. At least he's no longer suffering. He was 85 or 86 something when he passed away about two weeks ago so he's had a pretty good run.

Although I was sad at hearing the news of his passing i shed a lot less tears then my nieces and nephews who only knew him for less than half the time then I did. But people come and people go, and where there is death there is life and where there is sadness there will be happiness. While im not against mourning the loss of a loved one we all have to come to terms with it in our own ways and keep moving on.

Im sure that i'll just randomly break down in tears at work in the next few days.

With that aside, I ordered a pair of new mitts from Wiggle - Opted for the free delivery and expected it to be delivered within 3 or 4 days as stated on their website. However they have sent it by next day delivery, delivered to a neighbour but failed to leave a 'red card' telling me who they left it with and the tracking only says it was left with a neighbour as i wasn't in. Ive checked with both neighbours left and right of me and none of them have it. hopefully whoever has them will knock on my door and drop them off.

@Blue, Question? On an audax, is it considered acceptable to use car and/or train/plane to get to the top of the leaderboard?
