Thankfully I have no grandbrats, despite having 4 grown up kids. I just don't like kids anymore. I dread any second generation babies or toddlers being foist on me. I know its not normal.My eldest daughter (age 36) says she doesn't want any, eldest son shows no signs of settling down and is living the life of a wandering artist, youngest daughter said to me the other day she really does not want the responsibility, my youngest son is most likely to reproduce - but he is rather mentally ill and not in a fit state (and I think his girlfriend has the sense not to let it happen)... so, for the moment, I'm safe!
We have 5 children and 12 grandchildren from the 4 oldest. It's a long time since we have had to look after anyone but the bank balance gets a regular hammering!
It's funny, in the Greek culture one is considered rich if lots of offspring are produced!!

It was quite exciting. My local Tesco has freezing cold air-con for some reason. I've complained about it in the past. Its necessary to take a fleece with you even on a hot day. But I forgot...so I spent 20 minutes shivering and the tops of my fingers went numb!You must be desperate if walking round Tesco gets you excited.

It was Tesco that was too cold. Its about the right temperature for me outside now (about 22 C).
