One for @172traindriver, any idea how you approach/arrive at at a through station headed one way. Convinced you're going back the way you came, without changing ends?

Stuck at York with a train crew convinced they were going back to where they'd came. Replacement crew found who knew the route South out of York.

I lived in Ramsgate for many a year. My favourite abode was 4 Cannon Road. It is the only house I regret not still owning.

I know the road. Was it a semi detached Edwardian/Victorian (lots of those in that road)? My friend is looking to buy down there, hence I know the area well. Ramsgate is quite magnificent, if somewhat rundown. But I love it.

Depends if the driver has the route knowledge for where you were going next. If not he would either need a conductor driver or a driver with relevant route knowledge would be needed.
