Perhaps! But this one was dark, treacly, sweet and sour. Its very good in thin slices with strong cheese.

I wasn't sure what to cook but went to the only supermarket, Jempsons (in fact the only shop in Rye selling groceries of any sort apart from a butchers and a fruiterers)! This is the worst supermarket I've ever been in! High prices and very little fresh fish or meat. Ended up buying pre-packaged haddock fillets, a lemon, some potatoes and spinach. I don't think its going to be gourmet but I'll try to rustle up an interesting lemon butter sauce...

You really notice the difference in Mallorca, and only wish there was similar consideration shown in the UK by some (there are also many very considerate motorists it must be added) and Australia from your comments Victor...... @Shut Up Legs
