You really notice the difference in Mallorca, and only wish there was similar consideration shown in the UK by some (there are also many very considerate motorists it must be added) and Australia from your comments Victor...... @Shut Up Legs

I certainly noticed the difference in France when I was there just over a week ago, where everyone generally shared the road without any fuss or antagonism.
Even the cows were friendly. I was at the top of a mountain, revelling in the fact I'd ridden up it, and was standing with my bike on the side of the road, when a cow wandered up to me, and drooled all over my bike! It was a nice bike, though, so I guess the cow showed good taste.

No, just some synthetic gel job. I think the cow was just curious (or bored). There were more cows up there than people.

Bloomin' 'eck, I've been busy this morning!!
The front door has been wiped over with a soapy cloth, then dried, and I've descaled the kettle and the coffee machine..
Time for a sit down and a cuppa before I fall over from sheer exhaustion
