It was wonderful. Ate at the Harbour Light Cafe (at end of pier) yesterday afternoon with waves crashing spectacularly on the rocks. Oysters!I hope you had a great time.

Travel lodge. But they do have a very good late check out (12pm). Most hotels its 10 or 11 am.

I don't know about the carnival. But both pubs are still doing well and I had a pint at the Queen's Head yesterday!That road used to be the route of the Ramsgate Carnival. Do they still have one, I wonder?
Many's the time I've fallen out of the Queens Head and The Oak on the seafront there
