Thank you all! It could be worse. I'm taking ibuprofen & paracetamol together and coping. What happened was I tripped over the base rung of the baby gate. Why have I got a baby gate? To keep dog out of front room where he barks his head off at any passer-by.

We aren't going back until the weather improves and that's that. Please arrange some blinding sun for the latter part of next April and ensure that it lasts every day for 6 months!!!
