Bit of a duck dilemna yesterday... I popped a 2 kilo Gressingham duck in the oven, before I rode into town, so it'd be ready for lunch before w*rk. I asked Mrs Pete to switch the oven off when the timer went ping, which she duly did.
Sadly, I'd put the bird in the bottom oven, and set the switch and timer for the top oven..
Back home to find a raw duck!
Never mind, just time to bake some sweet potato wedges and I fired up the correct oven
Cold duck and salad for lunch today

Cold raw duck! Didn't Mrs Pete notice the lack of appetising cooking aromas? You are lucky to have 2 ovens. I often wish I did...
