Changing the subject slightly (although it could still be sheep themed)... what are you guys having for Xmas dinner?

It'll be the cheapest frozen turkey I can find here (probably Aldi's - £8 last year). I've tried expensive ones but reckon its not worth it. I'll do all sorts of interesting things with it. Shut-up in the back row.

Injecting it with herby, garlic butter is one idea. But I'll probably marinade the whole turkey first.

So tell us what you are going to have...
As I have mentioned elsewhere we have beef this year. I have always said, if turkey and mince pies are so good why don't we eat them all year round?

So why have turkey, it's not actually a traditional thing, they are not British birds. Have whatever meat you favour, and why have a roast? It is the mid winter feast to celebrate the passage of the sun turning to the south, have what ever your family want, not what the adverts say you should have (remember, santa is only dressed in the colours of Coca-Cola because Coca-Cola say he is).

I rather like turkey! But as I said - it could still be sheep themed. Lamb or mutton or hogget!
