I don't often drink Whisky. It makes me exceedingly cantankerous!

Dang and blast!! I get home from w*rk and there's only one fig roll left! :cursing:
Haven't had one of those in a long time. Used to get them as a kid. According to Wiki:

The fig roll or fig bar is a sweet roll filled with fig paste that dates back to ancient Egypt, where it is still eaten today. The modern fig roll and its mass popularity can be traced to the development of industrial production by American Charles Roser in 1892, now marketed by Nabisco as the Fig Newton.

And there was me thinking they were a quaint British biscuit.

Me too, I think. Mine were Jacobs.

Get the rest of the house up and hold an enquiry...
I held a full enquiry this morning and got to the bottom of the misappropriation of said fig rolls. It turns out that MrsPete fed them to No1 grandson! He loves them, so I'm in two minds whether to dock 70p from his pocket money or not. As a first offence, I think just a warning should suffice. :okay:
Fig rolls...amazeballs!:hungry::okay: A dreich mist there is this morn:cold:...
I love 'em. They are great snacking on a ride.
Morning.

I must be one of the few people that hate things like fig rolls and mincemeat pies. Lol

Back to the 24 hour shop?

Good idea, but it was to near bedtime.
