On a Saturday? I am surprised at that. Never see our lot out at the weekend.

I won't be venturing out on the bike. I've had enough of filthy roads for the time being. Some more walking will be in order soon I think.

Bike is out pre-washing soaking in the rain I think, as I mentioned it has been constant this winter but I'll take the mud and glaur if the white stuff and it's ilk stay away. A lot of water pipe installation in the country roads area nearby, they have a cleaning lorry ongoing but still a bit maukit. It's the muck spreading and the lack of clean up after, I now avoid two farm roads, the rain never seems to 'wash' it away. I think a phone call to roads to check the legal side as one has a steepish hill running down from it and it has to be a skidding hazard to cars as well. Renfrewshire Council will be fielding all sorts of calls on Monday , track at BoW has mucho smashed glass on it. I may try Twitter first to see if it works any magic. Phoning the council can an exercise in futility...

Yep.. Saturday. All recycling every week, rubbish and garden waste on alternating Saturdays.

They work! Saturdays round here if the Monday was a Bank Holiday. They don't do Bank Holidays.

Bank Holiday Tuesdays, or any other Bank Holidays throw them completely.
