I thought you were being serious at first as there is currently a 3 day Scottish Juniors cycling races going on. They were over Forgandenny way today and are through this way tomorrow round Madderty/St Davids. Small section of road closed most of the day.

I thought you were being serious at first as there is currently a 3 day Scottish Juniors cycling races going on. They were over Forgandenny way today and are through this way tomorrow round Madderty/St Davids. Small section of road closed most of the day.

That'll be the "tour" that runs alongside most tours these days.

They'll fleece yer if you want to get something to eat or drink.

We've the Tour de Yorkshire passing close by soon. Council have granted 46 temporary food licences for the day. Everyone of them mobile food operators.

Evenin' all. I spent the day in the garden and laying a few bricks, so missed out on a great riding day. I'm going to go out first thing tomorrow, and see how I get on with 30 miles. That would be my longest ride for 3 years, believe it or not.

On another subject, I released about 500 tadpoles (no, classic, I didn't count them!) into our pond today, and I'm going to take the remaining 200 or 300 back to the pond I got them from tomorrow.

I remember we got stopped about 2 mile outside Newtyle as it was a Scottish Juniors same thing 3 days, they hadn't put any indication that the road was closed. We did get an offer of a motorbike escort but we just did a bit of a round trip. Problem with these areas is there is a myriad of roads. I can't remember if that was last year or two years ago.

This sounds like what I need too. Will have lunch then maybe head out. The sun is out now and I fancy just taking it really easy. Not sure whether to take the road bike or the hybrid. Decisions, decisions!
