Morning peeps. There is sun and blue sky here but I won't be fooled. It is also barely above freezing and blowing a gale so with the windchill factored in it will be really cold out. Back to the padded jacket if I want my wander soon.

Blowing a gale here yesterday and today. Yesterday I thought "that's a day for the turbo". I opened the window in the spare room to let it cool and when I went back in later 75% of the vertical blinds had gone - all sucked out and scattered across the garden by the wind!!:giggle:

All these brave peeps cycling in that wind! Won't be me.

Not even sure about a second walk as there's rain blowing through it now too.

Tempted to spend another afternoon curled up with a book. Thankfully, it's to ease by tomorrow and looks reasonably decent after that. Still breezy but nothing like it's been.

That was us yesterday - not sure about a second walk after getting mouths full of sand on our walk to the beachside bottle bank.

I'm glad we did go out again though as we got a laugh from 2 of our feline friends. A few nights ago we met a new cat walking through the grounds of a local church - it was a massive tomcat with a face and head covered in scars from battles; a friendly critter but we reckoned a real fighter . Near the same church lives a pristine little tomcat called Friday who looks like butter wouldn't melt and, again, is a friendly little chap. Well, last evening we came across the battle scarred massive cowering under a car while little old Friday was keeping him in his place with nothing more than a hard stare. We did :laugh:

Yep.........size can be deceptive with cats. My Tia is a very dainty and petite Siamese but when she is "having a maddy" or playing with her toys she sounds like a baby elephant. She has one of these plastic tubes with the ball in it that they are supposed to bat round with their paws, but she gives it laldy and hits it so hard the whole thing lifts off the floor. Lol

It was just lovely down here in sunny East Anglia until about 4.30/ 5.00, when a chill wind got up. It eventually drove me off my roof at about 6.00, and I am just about thawed now.

I've beaten the mallards...........now I've got to beat a moorhen.
Change in the weather(getting colder) headed your way.

Don't know how you'll thaw out when that arrives.
