I have 5 more sleeps until we move house. 1 more day at a job that I used to adore but now have gone right off and 4 more days of internet until getting it back 5 days later. It's all very exciting :hyper:
All those new routes to explore as well :bicycle:

Night all (I might be back if sleep is doing it's elusive thing again)

Wow, exciting times, Saluki. I wish you best of luck with your move.

After two days of bricklaying at ankle level, I'm stiff as a board this morning.

Here's a fun one for you to think about. I designed a curved retaining wall outside the back of our house. It is an arc. Unfortunately, though, the centre of the arc is inside the house, and so I can't use a string and centre-peg to set it out. How did I manage to get the brickwork done to the right curve in the right place?

That was a recent taste session,
I've got a mandate to try all the haddie and chips I see...

If I remember, it was the usual Morrisons thick-breadcrumbed version Cod
Have to admit I prefer haddock. Not had a fish supper for a while.

My tootsies are just warming up. T'was a tad chilly out this morning. Sunny when I left Crieff but climbing up over the moor out of Comrie the mist came down and made it feel cold. Auchterarder the same and wasn't till I was a few miles from home it cleared. Still sunny here.

Haddie, fish of choice:okay:
I used to do the early stuff on the weekends,
Best time to be out, tbh.

You used an open piece of space in the garden to lay out a course of bricks in the full arc, then used that to make up a template.

Cut out the sections of the template that were needed, laid them in the final position, and used it as a guide for the actual wall.

Good morning folks. Looks like a nice day today :hello:
Good Morning :hello:
The poor bicycles look absolutely knackered in that last photo. It looks like they're all having a well-deserved lie-down. :tired:
Sit down strike having seen what's on the trailers.
Morning. I am ready for my last day at the current job. I have a drop tower to run today and then a little roller coaster. The weather is good as well, which is nice, being outside and all.
I have coffee and breakfast, so kind of ready to go.
You realise your moving to somewhere that may soon cease to exist!

Leave the tootsies at home next time. All wrapped up nice and warm.

Morning!

How much space on either side of the wall, and was the arc built where it now resides?

Morning though.
