Ah well. Thems the breaks. I wasn't aware that it was in Yorkshire anyway. I thought that Yorkshire was picky about the counties that it associated with. Hubster has been quite clear on this in the past. That's his reason for not buying me red roses he says. Not Yorkshire enough! Not sure if Lincs has a flower but he probably would object to those too.Its being booted out of Yorkshire.

When we got the East Riding back, Lincolnshire was forced/retreated south of The Humber.Ah well. Thems the breaks. I wasn't aware that it was in Yorkshire anyway. His job is to keep the ****** mallards away from our pond. They've been devastating for the tadpoles, the newts, and the new plants. You can see the strings I strung across in the vain hope that would prevent them landing. The moorhen from the pond over the road joined the party last week, so I put up a low temporary fence to keep it away. Finally, I snapped, and bought this plastic swan from eBay. A life sized mute swan costs about £45, so I had to settle for this thing, which I think may be a trumpeter swan.......but it seems that mallards aren't specist, and just hate all swans, thank goodness.
Would that be the third(last) quarterMorning all
Looks like another sunny day out there
