Mine's flew off as I was descending.Our youngest asked me if I would give him one of my bikes yesterday. As I haven't used my winter bike for a few years I said he could have that. As he got on the bike to try it the crud catcher snapped - I suppose a few years of sitting about had made it brittle. It was funny watching it fly across the drive.![]()
I didn't know what had come off so a quick stop and check,
back up the hill and there it was.
It had just given up, I think.
I'll nip to Halfords and get another,
the mess of the back of my top today let's say was coated.
I'm thinking of one of the Topeak seat post rack thingies as I miss being able to carry my binocs etc on some outs as I won't have it on permanently, I've a pannier rack but sheared a bolt and had to drill it out, either I tap a new thread or use a p clip but I like the easiness of the seat post rack.
