It's summer,
all out building sandcastles, mud pies and playing in plastic pools
and Goldilocks is out getting porridge

Good morning everyone. Yet another early morning.

Good morning. Another early riser here.

Just been out putting the bin out and it is a lot fresher out. Only around 7 degrees..........feels almost chilly compared to a few days ago. I am half way through a cup of tea then I think I'll head across to dads. Hopefully time it right for porridge making again.

Pinch someones breakfast. Tha'll be caught.

Time to get out a machete and try to find my way across the garden. A week away at this time of year gives the sun and rain the chance to turn things into a tropical rain forest. Then, it's drain-laying. Fun fun.......

Sad news. Already been loads of complaints from cyclists about the dangers of the Edinburgh tram tracks. Had to wait for something like this to happen before they will maybe act.

Yep, it's a pick 'n shovel job today. And it's warm......

You'll have the digging done n'dusted by now. Or should have.

No, there is quite a lot of digging. I dig a section, then do the pipework in that bit, and there is quite a lot of mucking around with levels and so on (this is surface water drainage from the sunken patio, and levels are absolutely critical). So, that's lot's of words for "I haven't finished, and will be digging tomorrow".

Hey, was it you who nipped down here and let the air out of my rear tyre whilst I was away? I left it in perfect order, 100+ psi, and came back to find it flat as a pancake. That's not fair!!
