Morning WD.

The bad news is..............my back has gone. I'm locked up in spasm, just a matter of weeks after the procedure which was supposed to put an end to this happening. OK, it was a huge piece of oak I was moving, but nevertheless, this seems a little unfair. The chances of getting the house ready for rendering before the weather is against us just plummeted.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.

Exercise doesn't help. It isn't a case of strengthening or mobilising anything. It is a question of managing wear-and-tear and deterioration. Decades of professional sport are taking their toll. I'm hyper-flexible (I can still put my hands flat on the floor with my legs straight), and pretty fit, so specific exercises are pointless. Besides, I looked up the statistics. Physiotherapy has no long term benefit for back pain sufferers, and I say this as someone who has a brother in law who is a leading back-specialist physiotherapist, who'll treat me FOC.

Owdo, forecast was for heavy rain. We've a clear blue sky. Just how it should be when they've gone back to school.

@MikeG, hope you're better sooner rather than later. Would hanging fire after have made any difference?

And is it Queensland?
