I am a bit surprised about that @Mo1959. How come as I thought he would have been particularly popular in Scotland.
To me its a bit like Lewis Hamilton as great a driver as he is I cant take to the bloke and always want his rivals to beat him.
However Chris Hoy is an absolutely top guy in my opinion.

He took two jobs to allow him to pay for the licence for Lewis. Who in turn paid for his brothers licence and adaptions to his car, to allow him to race.

His brother used to be seen always seated in a wheelchair in the McLaren pits.
