Nipped into halfords for dry bike lube...(I'm feeling confident)
Ordered online for pick up..
2 bottles less 10% BC discount, £7.26 and if I was in shop one was £6.98..
always check the online price...

Red stuff given (my arm gave grudgingly, of course)
I got the silver award also @Bobby Mhor.
25 visits if I am correct, probably got up to about 30 and then seemed to let it slip.
I first started when they used to come into the place where I worked. A mate dared me to go, so I did and kept on going. Eventually left the work place and then they used to visit the local Labour Club, so I continued going down there to donate.
Eventually the Labour Club shut down and I guess I sort of fell off the radar with them. I suppose the blood donation people probably still visit places in the town, but it's been so many years now that I probably don't exist on the system any more.
A few of us decided to go on a Thursday evening (before Top Of The Pops) and were running late so refused the tea etc, not wise)
I just kicked on from then.
I can't remember how many I gave but not enough for gold.

It's a shame I never continued as I would have hit the gold a good many years ago.
I used to enjoy the tea and biscuits :cuppa:
I have taken to buying some stuff from Halfords lately as there is one in the town and the 10% BC discount makes the price quite competitive fairly often, plus its easy to order online and have it delivered to the store, and then just pop down and get it.

Ok the coffin
Is that on the left for you?
The left side would be the wrong side. Watch any old Dracula film.

It is plus the saving online can be quite substantial.
I think they may have changed their price matching policy though..
25 mile radius now? but here that'll include Evans and Decathlon.

The crazy think is they use a carrier to deliver your order to the store, easier to give free delivery over a smaller amount?
I'm just angling if I do move at some point rural

I never realised about the 25 mile radius thing, however Evans in Brum is less than 25 miles :okay:
If I ever need anything I try loads of options and one of my favourites is to try to get Evans to price match online retailers such as CRC of Wiggle. I get it delivered to store and its only a 5 minute walk from work so on a break its no problem, but also Wiggle and CRC use Collect+ and its only 1 mile to the local Spar. So that is free providing its over £12 I think.
You can use your 10% BC discount with CRC and Wiggle also, so its worth spending some time trawling the internet :okay:

I don't think some of the staff realise the distance thing,
I used to get price matched without asking as they knew it would be coming then a new manager told me about the revised rule.
You can just shop anyway online with most stuff arriving 48 hours later,
I knew about the CRC one but not Wiggle but I have access to get stuff discounted there.
