I am confused. I thought they said it was a rest day for Le Tour today but my tv guide says it's on?

I think you misinterpreted last nights comments that today would be a relative rest day for the main players after 2 days of mountains and a mountainous day tomorrow as today is a relatively flat stage.

At one point on todays ride the garmin hit 31°C.
Warm 66 mile ride.
Now sat watching the Tour in the lounge which is by far the coolest room in the house.
