I am your Father
I have agreed on a New Year's day ride on this forum *will cancel for Ice or torrential rain* & have hit a quandary .....

Haven't ridden on road for 12 months, off road about 9 months & confidence is low, however the main thing is that my gearing is out by some margin & resembles a washing machine on it's last legs *rattle & drum* with very little time & zero technical ability I either find someone rapid & available to tune up the bike or go as is & pray to the cycling God's that I don't come a cropper !

Should also add that I am back at work in the morning for 3 days.

Thinking I might take the risk.

Good morning all. :hello:

We had a minor earthquake about 90mins ago - the 4th over the last couple of weeks. They’ve all been minor - I think the largest was 3.6 but it fairly shook the building as the epicenter was right below us. It seems the Mediterranean area is quite active at the moment.

Morning. Thought I had beat you to it.

Half way through coffee before I head out for day 27. Lol. Another mild one.
How big is the cup?

Good morning @172traindriver @Blue & @Mo1959 :hello:

Foggy & damp like a misty squid here on the Mancunian Riviera this morning.
10 & 1/2 hour shift as a welcome back to work kick in the slats !
Much the same over here. You'll be wanting it back I presume.

No one hurt.

I was lying in bed when the latest one struck and my back just got a short, but nice, massage as the bed shook.

The first one was the biggest as it was right under us. I was standing in the kitchen at the time and there was a heck of a grinding/rumbling noise and the whole building gave quite a shake for a few seconds. It didn't half scare Mrs B.
