Have just been told I need to registester with the Job Centre: no-one is certain what the loons at the top are farting about at, (My chief describes it as "Sort of like the Brexit negotiations") but it looks like the funding for my job will be cut, which is really annoying as I was just getting a hang of it.

On the other hand, I went online and found that as of yesterday the city farm I worked at for a while is looking gor someone to cover for maternity leave; and an adult learning centre is offering a position, as is a rehab centre, and both are looking for staff with experience dealing with people with Psychological issues...

Hopefully one of them could be good for you or if not good luck

I certainly slept -there were the usual comments about snoring*- but it just feels like I didn't. Ugh.

*I blamed the cat. This was disallowed on the ridiculous technicality that we don't have one.

One of the advantages of working in theatre, is that we have props kicking about the place, incluuding a very business like LARP sword.

When my kids were tiny, they came with the usual fears of Monsters Under The Bed. I produced the sword, went into the room and informed any monsters in the vicinity that they would have to mess with me if they wanted to try scaring anyone.

Only needed to do it twice, thereafter the room was a Monster Free Zone for over a decade.

Any cowled sycthe carrying skeletons (who will remain nameless) be warned...

I was in Asda earlier and stopped at the cadbury's choccy bit but I resisted the packets of 'bites'..
