Conversation at the cabinet makers where I was apprenticed:
3rd year apprentice: You just need to cut off a Bisserle (Swabian for a "Bißchen", or a little bit)

3rd Year apprentice: (Deadpan) just over a "Muggessäckerle", obviously.
And they say Germans have no sense of humour...

He was near to graduation and I'd only been there a year. I think actually that's what he said to me, before using the Muggesäckerle as an example.
He was a great lad, very introverted but came up with a few cracking one liners...
