I went on an oot but the rain started after 4 miles.

Will a bike be any better/easier?

Laminated maps won't stop the rain, but they can be used to stop you getting as wet.

I went on an oot but the rain started after 4 miles.

It started as I left but new roads and tracks to explore. I intended to cross the Kincardine Bridge and find my way back down via the Clackmannan Bridge but ended up in Clackmannan itself, I just retraced my route, next time. I was intending to use the Bridge cycle path, I’ll phone someone later for local knowledge

I normally don't head out that way if I've been there before as there is lots more to explore in the nearby area,

I was on the A road that crosses it but I wanted to find the cycle path, a wrong turn in Kincardine..
signage was okay, I just made a boo-boo
