Breezy right enough, windy at home, Dundee and Falkirk and all parts in between....

not cycled
Me neither. Keeps drizzling off and on and quite breezy. My peace is getting disturbed with my new neighbours rattling about. Lol. Once they are all settled in and back to work peace will be restored I’m sure. Turns out one of them is one of the nurses from the hospital in Auchterarder that looked after dad.

I had pencilled in a run through here today but wx not the best, so we threw Beag Mhor in the car and headed NE but back now.

He uses a map still?

I use a map, and he hasn't any alternatives as yet.

You've taken his map! How's he gonna find he's way back?

Twit.

Stuttgart is in a valley which has a lot of side valleys so the geography can be confusing and you can find yourself on the wrong side of a hill if you aren't familiar with the place. The route is pretty simple when you see it but it would take a week to describe.

Elder Son needed to get to work, not faff about with a map (or indeed GPS). Usually he rides the tram on the worst bit but he wanted to ride all the way in so I offered to guide him on a relatively traffic free route I know.

Blearg. It amazes me what a difference our latitude makes.
Just before 7 this morning, it was wet so cloudy as well..
if babysitting can be called work:laugh:

How many do you let leave in the daylight.
None..
it just happened that is our usual leaving time...

He uses a map still?
If I'm on the hills, I still print off an OS map, carry a compass as electronics are not totally reliable, and I also carry Garmin GPS and OS maps on my phone...
gotta cover yer ass..

There's money to be made babysitting. As much as £10 per hour, per baby!

Why only departures in the dark?

And if all that fails, you ask someone?
