Yep, a wee brain lapse, senior moment?
I like how it was noticed and not corrected, respecting your elders

Why not, the thing about being out every day is to have alternative routes, back in the west, I always cycled back up NCN75, not because it was easier but it was safer (and a steady not noticeable climb), it was much easier
I've already seen more of the Kelpies than I want to but will spread my wings as the year goes on...although that canal is so tempting..
I'm going to buy a whip (fishing one) and do some coarse fishing so need to chat with the anglers I met for info...
