Went over to the new property yesterday and had a nice chat with one of the neighbours then walked to the local shops and we were delighted to find that Mrs B could still manage the required distance. Indeed, we wouldn't have to go too much further to make it to one of the local parks or one of the towns major shopping centres. Augurs well.

It's :sun: here so  - although there is a light but distant mist that's reducing the views across Belfast Lough and the far side of town.

'Morning all :hello:
It's not, they've been forced to leave the street lights on due to the fog.
Result, it appears to be sunny.

Walk, thought you had a car and drove everywhere.

It's getting like that these days. We've always had a car and Mrs B used to complain because I had us walking everywhere. I like to walk but Mrs B's stamina is hitting rock bottom these days. As I've said, I still encourage Mrs B to take a couple of short walks each day to help keep her mobility - I don't want to go to a world wherein that has been lost.

When in Limassol if we ever went into the 'old town' (3-4 miles away) she would catch a bus and I would walk. One time she waited so long for a bus that I got home first:laugh:

You're not one of these that'll drive to the shop over the road then.

:headshake:I've never understood that mentality.

I do drive to do our local Tesco but Mrs B complains because I've always parked as far away from the entrance as possible for both easier parking and a nice stroll in/out 🚶‍♂️. Indeed, I tend to do that, for the same reasons, when I have to drive anywhere.

Never been able to work out why they do something that requires more energy/effort, than they save.

Oh, I understand that(basic definition of 'lazy' isn't it). It's the mentality that drives that I don't understand - they miss so much.

They go halfway over just to get into the car, reverse of it on the other side. Then repeat when coming back.

Assuming they don't park on the pavement.

Been foggy here all day:ohmy:
I heading up into the hills on the bike but thought, it's getting pea soup stuff so back down into the same, I did glimpse blue sky occasionally but 36F out, had a long downhill stretch and face and fingers were freezing, MB shorts on but no problem....
Pretty still though so a calm run.
Now settled and pondering what to watch now, CNN has called JB da Prez....

Never fully lifted here either.

A calm run, thought you'd have gone on the bike.

That's your viewing over with, now the count is all but done. What you gonna watch now?
