I'm on my third of the day.
First two in the early hours, whilst you were sleeping.
You're not still boiling the water in a pan!!
I used to do that as a Fresher at Uni.

First two, statements
Third, question
I'd not have waited this long between the old kettle popping it's clogs and getting a replacement.
Spelling needs checking though.Than use the correct punctuation...
Honestly, I may be a bit slow in the procurement of suitable water heating devices, but I at least know when to use a question mark and an exclamation mark.
Spelling needs checking though.
You never used an exclamation mark in a question? However it was an exclamation of surprise that you were still without a kettle, so correct usage.
There's also no interrobang on the keyboard.
It was an exclamation, I thought you'd replaced the one that popped it's clogs. You gave it the Viking Funeral it had earned.I was trained never to use an exclamation mark when I was being trained to write. It was considered that "If one requires such punctuation to make a point or a joke one has failed to write correctly".
I dread to think what that person would say about Emojis...
Oddly, the spellchecker on CC doesn't seem to work when I write posts, so I miss poor spelling.

I had been but all that talk of the English language..
I'm admitting to wasted English classes, turned out my English teacher for the last couple of years was more into encouraging a couple of aspiring writers...I found out in recent years. They were/are gifted, I have to say.
I didn't and my basic mistakes were never really explained to me..It was kinda quiet, and I think he may have been nervous about starting his new job today. I were outnumbered two to one, by teachers!
You didn't like English lessons. Did you ever ask for Scottish, Gaelic, lessons instead?
Were you amongst the "gifted" at school then?
Morning??
They told you you were making mistakes, but not how you should be correcting them. Sounds as though your teachers hated English lessons.I didn't and my basic mistakes were never really explained to me..
Gaelic classes stopped the year I first attended the big school and yep, I was boy Dux of my primary
even with piss poor English...
I got down marked with no real guidance to where I'd gone wrong...They told you you were making mistakes, but not how you should be correcting them. Sounds as though your teachers hated English lessons.
PPE never stopped you though, did it.
