Good morning people
I'd two lovely cleg (horsefly) bites from yesterday, greedy feckers must have got some blood out of me, it looked gruesome
I felt the nips and was slowly going upwards and must have aided the bleeding,
no more hilly bit through forests without a breeze at least..
Nothing has arrived yet, haven't looked at the forecast..
Spent some time updating a radio,
so simple yet so 'Is this working?' whilst you press the button..
takes a minute at most but trying to remember the menu settings and that then brings more program updates,
I long for the old days of button pressing and dials

How much did they get do you reckon. Enough to leave you light headed. Food, to bring your iron levels back up, is what you need. Along with time doing very little to recover.
Go back, show them you're not scared of them. And have a can of fly spray handy, get yer own back.
Rain not arriving is odd. Maybe it's run dry up there. No more rain!
Virtual radio is it. You don't actually have a base station with buttons you press, knobs you twiddle and dials you check.

Radios are all electronic menu driven nowadays, still enough bits of tweak and fiddle with..
The old valve ones used to head up your room nicely..
Shed all done..
rain just started so that'll save watering the garden centre
Mrs M off to buy a slab so I can place the honeysuckle next to the shed....
had to make an emergency call for some fizzy juice, I mean, I was reduced to a beer to cool down
This is my option if I want just to listen etc..
Worth every penny.....

I'd want the setup physically in front of me, as a seperate piece of equipment. Last one I looked at, even came with an uninterruptible power supply, for use in power failure's.
Just be careful if you're asked to dig a hole, before the slab is used.
Call put out over the radio, SMS(Save My Sanity)/Mayday. Your slacking though, second time in two months supplies have run low/out.
Setup looks nice, but it's not for me. Too much reliance on one part, a computer.

Unit is a SDR (Software Defined Radio),
someone just over a decade ago cross-engineered the software for TV dongles to receive certain frequencies and it has snowballed from there, the unit in question can receive from 1 Khz - 2 Ghz..
Superb, useful bit of kit...powered through the USB socket.
The one I use has three antenna sockets so I can cover quite a large amount of bandwidth..
The main items are in plentiful supply
Baseball is starting so I'm off for the rest of the evening...

That windows 10 updating itself. You are not alone in slow updates. Been a few on here complaining about it.

It was the actual process of checking and downloading but ran a scannow and seems to have fixed it, we'll see.
I run insider previews so expect the odd blip along the line..

One reason I'm not keen on windows 10, the constant updating that seems to go on. Never without trouble it seems either.
Hope you'll have it up and running with no problems. Or the "odd blip".

I'll find out tomorrow,
I run antivirus and Malawarebytes every morning after I check for updates
Windows is okay, all the programs I use are based on it.
If I needed to only surf, email or basic stuff, I'd use a Rasp Pi..
Cut and laid floor covering in't hut..
built a couple of storage racks up and chucked it,
too warm..
I'll move stuff into it tomorra'

Why'd you put shelving in, wouldn't a camp bed be better.
