A matter of personal taste but Becks Blue is about the most tasteless of the non alcohol ones you can get. Trouble is they seem to have a big bit of the wholesale market and I had a long fight with Calmac to get something decent in the ship's bar. While I do not now drink alcohol anyway any alcohol when driving is illegal in Scotland. Not totally true but the limit is so low that even a half pint would probably put you over the limit.
Since you are a radio buff I may sometime put up a picture of our school radio club just for entertainment.^_^
We bought some for last weekends 'do' and drivers preferred coke or fanta tbh..
I can remember Kaliber the original 0%, it was rotten.
I am finishing off the Becks just to use them up,
they are really 2 good swigs at best...
I do remember travelling back and forward to Ardyne Point in the 70s on the then Glen Sannox and the beer was like dishwater,
I saw the 'new' Glen Sannox looking a sorry state the other day, wonder if it'll get 'fixed'

The radio club will probably put mine to shame ^_^
I did do a SOTA activation of Ben More circa Sept 2011,
I had a handheld with me last trip over but nothing heard..
I did stop and have a brief chat with the fella near Pennyghael with the satellite gear, he gave me his QSL card..
I should really return the favour since I finally got mine printed recently..
Yer late!

Doesn't sound good, not sounding good if they'd to cut a car open.
Here's to it not being as bad as it sounds.
I haven't heard any further..
I'm always late plus another journey west tomorrow:wacko:
Hopefully traffic jam free...

Jam free!
No scones.

Get on yer bike if the traffic slows down. They can pick you up when they catch you up.

You still got some of those cards left. I thought writers cramp had set in due to the number of cards being sent out.

Late again,
another trip west..
Monsoon rains around 13.00 and just as we were heading back, the traffic slowed and the usual A8 drainage issue so we diverted up over high country roads to avoid a 23 min delay (Google says now)
Nice to see my old cycling roads again....
Back home...

I bought 2000:ohmy:
150 left from old QTH and 850 left for here..
a total of 3.7 kg of cards sent out (2 batches)..
I'm allowed to send 5kg a year..so I've 1.3 kg left to May next year..
I had a backlog, big one

Ay, noted

When you were on the west you went east, now t'is the other way round, trip wise.
Bike stay at home? How close a look did you get at your "old cycling roads", not too close.
...safe and dry?

Glad you're paying the postage and not me, or were they sent out in two parcels to a central point. 1,000 2nd class envelopes would take some licking.

No need to lick brown tape.

Is it yer memory playing tricks on you, and they weren't really as bad as you remember. If not, get yer bike over there and make certain yer seen. Get 'em worried.
One or two spells of rain here. Some heavier than others.

Now's yer chance to try the outside shower, just wait for the next downpour whilst hoping there's no nosey neighbour's watching.

Beag is coming to see us this afternoon so better get his toys out:laugh:
The first of my two sunflowers have flowered^_^
roughly 5 ft 7 inch so not bad from a late grown seed.
We are a sunflower family,
our dishes , bowls etc are sunflower dominated...
No rain here since yesterday, yet is forecast...

Finally we are getting some real rain:laugh:
Remember I was employed as a gardener albeit in a cooncil way:ohmy:.
I had a look at the flowers beds I used to plant out and maintain, still the same pattern, same plant types only different colours.
Through no fault of their own,
I refuse to plant antirrhinums and geraniums ^_^
no nipping plants, no dead heading so waste of time..
Anyhoo :cuppa:

What were falling before then.
You'll have spent most of yer time "hiding" from t'gaffer then.
In't it easier to follow the lines of what were planted before. The digging should be easier at least.
Cuppa going down well?

It'd have gone well with a fake shower.
You've pulled the lot! Hope your spud box isn't airtight or watertight. Old newspapers in the bottom.

Short season for this year.
Always time...

Owdo

Will you be doing the same again next year. Knowing what you know now.
Enjoy the fruits of your labour, as long as they last you.
Feeding herself is important. Feed the pepper later, it'll give it time to put the onions back.
The tomato plants are still giving...

Morning??
