I am and I hope all is well in the middle of Wales

Of course, there were other reasons but I can't resist walking up to that view..
my first fell 40 years ago (my most memorable of that year)

It's G-LD-020, Skiddaw is the one distant in the middle and Blencathra to the east of it , both previously activated.
I waited until just N of Carlisle to see if the tops were cloud free and tried to post an alert but Kevin Bacon's vaunted employers 4G doesn't seem to work well, I tried sending it and hoped it would try again but nope I arrived with no alert posted but still got 9 contacts (2m)as far south as N Wales, that was enough on a midweek activation..

Everything In Wales is good, even the weather.

Not really..
Was to visit a friend who lives locally and headed to the nearest supermarket to buy flowers and spotted my fave cider was 50p cheaper,
the shelf was emptied
so nipped in the Penrith branch on the way and they only had 6 bottles left (added a case of Bud)
I'd forgot booze was cheaper down south

You will be back then, to clear the shelves again.

One thing noticeable on the journey, the amount of parcel lorries ..
about 15-20 DPD artics were spotted heading N (of Carlisle)in the space of an hour and an endless of various ones heading south around 7 -8.
Anyhoo, long day..

There's a larger than normal number of them on the M62, J24 down to the industrial estate at the bottom.
