I'm avoiding Glasgow until it is all over..
another jolly which will be all bluster then broken promises..

Anyhoo, I got soaked on a quick jaunt around the local paths and tracks....

You should go, get stopped going in, get stopped coming out. Or maybe even caught on telly, cycling in, showing how it can be done. Yer ten minutes of infamy.

Lesson One: Don't cycle when it's raining, especially if you don't want to get wet.
Or make the most of the free water and get yer clothes washed. Rinse and spin might be awkward though.

the rain started minutes before I headed out, in the time I was out for only 10 miles, 8 mm of rain fell
almost 20 mm has fallen since then...
and the man on the telly WX says more coming through..
and the 10 miles covered an extra Empire biscuit

Dry but overcast here all day.

You put your trust in those folk on the telly, still. They predicted snow for this weekend & Monday, there's non going to fall. 3,000 feet and above not included in northern latitudes.

I assume its all down to that website interpreting incoming information to create the rough MLAT position, all you need is erratic data to cause this.
The track I posted is from a well known site, possibility it automatically sheds any flaky data.

Possibly not got the filtering of the pro websites, dunno but it happens there occasionally too.
I fed them for a while then removed the feed.
