Delivery done and stacked away.
As long as they offer money off:laugh:

Headed out along the canal bank for a short cycle today,
not a chore but taken easy.
Slight headwind but enjoyed it when I headed back,
the hill at the end well, done but slowly:laugh:
Getting there.
Not for you then, this delivery you got up early for.

You still allowed on the canal towpath. No "racing" at high speed, scaring those out walking.
The headwind will have kept you cooler as well.
Getting back as well!
The ducks not eating yer breadcrumb trail?

More a reference to the four day weekend, with Saint Patrick's Day falling on a Thursday. There's a two day bank holiday in Ireland.

Sorry to read that last half. And easier say than do, but remember the good times more than the bad.
I won't bore you with details but the 2nd half of last year was rough. I suffered a carers' burnout and Mrs B had to spend a few days in a Care Home to give me some respite. It's the fact that that's what's ahead that should give me the chance to holiday alone.

Yes, I'm glad that we had many good years as the memories keep me going. Unfortunately it's all lost to Mrs B now.

The tail end of last year is lost in a bit of a blur to me so I can't recall if I let you know that we have our own cat now

Despite the burnout you were there for her.

Sad to see that it'll be similar that will allow you to holiday. Can't have been easy for you these last two years.

She was a rescue feral cat from a local shelter and we only see her when she wants to either sleep or eat so it's, indeed, quite possible that she was watching the food bowl being filled!
She's not watching the camera, which usually means there's something more "interesting" in the direction she's looking.

Tomorrow, as is usual in these matters.

Now have pictures of bread crumb trails all over your local area,in no time.
So long as you don't cross one, you should be okay.

Didn't you say you were going to have an easy day today.
Did they charge extra for the later delivery, or give a slight refund.

Aye, that bread you didn't take out with you can come in handy. Along with "corporation pop" for yer evening meal.

Grass will have to wait another day......
Bob is to be busy.....

Bought something recently , a perennial plants offer..
It's a dispatch 14 days within ordering..
I receive an email this morning, the same off offer only £3 cheaper..(orig was £12)
I email the company and get an apology for the order not being dispatched but saying it is due to be sent..
I replied highlighting the fact they had offered me the same plant deal but 3 quid cheaper was taking the hiss.
Slung....

So you got nowt back for the late delivery?
I'm a Yorkshireman/Tyke I'll have you know!!

Busy, busy, you'll be off enjoying yerssen. I've an idea of what you're like of late.

Don't things always become cheaper the minute you've paid for it, taken delivery of it.
Why didn't you accept their offer of another delivery, two for the price of one. That's what a Yorkshireman would have done.
Enjoy yer supplies.
