Bit too late and it was very hazy. Went to the true highest point rather than the trig point hoping for a 360 degree view but couldn’t see much.

You'll have to get out earlier, if possible, just to catch the sunrise.

Be easier stay up, go up, then go to bed after the sunrise.

had a quote to double slat the fence then the price of slats skyrocketed so just bought them and did the job myself..
now 33% cheaper per slat.
still some to be stained..
hut needs recoated with 'i'll have to find out':laugh:
would have stained the wee bit of decking but 'visitors' this weekend.
Someone keeps getting ideas off gardening programmes:laugh:

It'll freeze again tonight
Always cheaper do it yourself, not always easier.
The list of jobs to do is growing. Hope you've put making the list top priority.
Surprise them, they can't really moan because you did it on yer own.
Ban all gardening programmes on the telly, or the telly "develops a fault" every time one comes on.

Like watching the gold programmes,
moving massive areas of earth, stones for a flask of gold..
I should head to the Yukon......

got 15 mls on the bike, canal bank again and felt it, maybe drop back distance next time..
Didn't realise how unfit I've become...
