Wish i could feel that enthusiastic this morning:cuppa:
or any morning:ohmy:

Been wet earlier and yep, a tad chillier than normal.
I received a text yesterday saying lights and heating both on..
I never knew I knew a rich person^_^
I replied I'm in me bed:laugh:
Poor Mrs M and Beag were at Blair Drummond yesterday nursery outing, I felt for them....

Kimble always stays free,
that was possibly one of the best acted, scripted series ever, today is would be some crappy actor, apart from one or two now they couldn't lace the boots of the greats and for a start imagine that half grapefruit scene?
social media would erupt

I was out early again this morning. That weird drizzle that you can barely see but seems to soak you as bad as proper rain. Enjoyed my wander though and even jogged a couple of miles.

Owdo
One of "those days", again.
You've just got to work your enthusiasm up. Failing that, kick start it.
What time did you receive that text, and why weren't yer phone on silent(for messages) at that time.

Dry after 11, with rain in the air the rest of the day. Stayed in the air, didn't fall.

They went, leaving you behind! Is that fair, or were you hiding when they left?

Expect when he got caught.
There were another remake, after the 93 Ford remake. Don't watch it, whatever you do. You'll be wondering what its about.
Social media might erupt, so what. Vote with yer feet and walk out if you were daft/unlucky enough to go in/be dragged in.

My phone had been on silent but I missed a couple of texts from da boss...
just after lunch.

I may just find 'Yankee Doddle Dandy' to watch..
or semi binge catch up Parks and Recreation..

You've been doing yer homework.

Four days in bed! Weren't pushing yer luck were you.
You could at least try, might surprise yourself.
Da Boss will be bending yer ear when she finds you.

Binge and catch up.

Under?
I'm 80,000 leagues under the Central Belt:laugh:
and it would be five if I hadn't decided f'it..
I've binged on the railway and underground stuff that's on cable..
but the criterium is on in mins..
and guess what I found..
remember the photo about how close I was to the football ground..
here's better but it must be really old,
it is pre 1958 is the best I can do.
We were top right and you could see most of the ground.
The warehouses at back are the sugar shed where the bulk of the UK raw sugar once passed through, even today the floors, cobbled are still sticky in places and they spent over 4 mill making them watertight etc , a fleet of stainless steel backed lorries delivered it to latterly two massive refineries, they loaded big hoppers and when a certain level a lorry rolled forward, two big doors opened and the process started again, the docks were my playground when a youngster, happy memories.
I'm away to back the image up in case I lose it again.

Hope you actually feel better soon.

Binged on the railways. is that possible these days?
Which were your window then, or did you share with the rest of them?

And if a kid were caught down the docks these days, the parents would be told off for letting them go there on there own. You probably didn't even think twice about going, just went.
Floors in old mills down here are soaked with the oil from wool.

Food mills were the worst places, high chance of explosion if there was too much flour dust in the air.

You can always copy it back from here!

I love these programmes,
never pass an old building that look ....old,
got a liking for old architecture in my cycling days,
don't know the lingo just visually pleasing.
One prog is London Underground secrets and other is Railway Architecture..
the docks?
jeez. there were regular banana boat dockings in season, green bananas aplenty and about 50 ( low estimate)weans trying to half-inch some, the dock warehouse they were unloaded into had a plod guarding it, bunches are the big things they cut off the tree, its a 'hand' you buy in the shop....
Glasgow did the flour stuff, we did sugar, oil and cake and sugar..
We had an inside toilet, eh baths were a problem, zinc was the answer..
The good old days, aye right, was it 'ell

Depends on who's presenting and how they present them. Often they're repeats now.
In your cycling days, you no longer cycling. We've our share of old buildings, not all fully appreciated.
Secrets of the London underground is anotherm. Old stations no longer in use, including Churchill's WWII underground headquarters.
There were folk who seemed to think I came over on a banana boat.
Sweet and food factories were a bit far away at the time, and they all had their own guards.
What's wrong with a tin bath? Bring 'em back. You could watch the telly while soaking in front of yer fire.
