Depends on who's presenting and how they present them. Often they're repeats now.
In your cycling days, you no longer cycling. We've our share of old buildings, not all fully appreciated.
Secrets of the London underground is anotherm. Old stations no longer in use, including Churchill's WWII underground headquarters.
There were folk who seemed to think I came over on a banana boat.
Sweet and food factories were a bit far away at the time, and they all had their own guards.
What's wrong with a tin bath? Bring 'em back. You could watch the telly while soaking in front of yer fire.

Stone sink then graduating to the Zinc:laugh:
I'm only catching I haven't watched in the past, I soon recognise and switch off if a repeat.
It was the 'smells on the wind' depending on the direction, 'mashing' from across the river to the east, dock water wasn't exactly fragrant, the nearby oil and cake mill a sweet oil smell, sugar being unloaded on wet days for some reason, oh well.
Grangemouth is only six miles to the E but haven't noticed anything.

Anyhow, list of to dos all ticked off, meter readings sent in again, I sent last on 29th May then other day, send us readings in next 14 days, oh well.

You had a stone sink!
Presumably when you were smaller/younger.
We'd the brewery down the valley, to the south, and farms on the other three sides. Wonder how they'd cope with muckspreading nowadays.
You were brought up near the smell of cake. It'll be in yer blood now. N wonder you can't get enough of it.

Yer ticking off list getting shorter?

Yep, still plenty lying about in farmers fields..
We'd an Ascot water heater:laugh:
so a spare shilling for the gas, shilling? it'll be a £20 note now.
List has one thing but need AA batteries (before u say it RAC ones are no good), some bleedin' Swedish store not doing them no more, they were so handy.
No hurry as just manually switching heating etc on.
Some up here were spreading the other week, cheap fertiliser, oooh aar.

White "Belfast" sinks or tin baths?
You were posh then. Recently removed one of those for someone, parts no longer available.
Don't think a twenty would cover it these days.
Where'll you get them now, if the Swedish shop no longer sells them.
The smell has never bothered me. Let them spread away.

Mu mum had a Monday in the washhouse,

bet she was glad when she got the very basic Hoover washing machine(single tub)..
and no, I didn't use a slate at school (just missed it:laugh:)

You got that dirty that it took a day to you!
Did it come complete with mangle, which you were "press ganged" into turning.
You moved quicker when you were at school then.
