I'll have a parcel to look forward to tomorrow. I've never had decent sunglasses, and given I often get headaches with the sun, I have splurged some cash on a pair of Oakleys. Nae pockets in a shroud!

I didn't want to say that.
Not done that for a while now. Last time it was any time, any place, anywhere.
Ended up two streets away, "delivered" by being thrown down the steps, with the driver not leaving the side of his van, as he "delivered" to the adjoining address at the same time.

Poor lad delivered it at just before 8..
looked kinda flustered..
I'd a pal who did deliveries when they first started..
nowadays one van can cover a few towns..
His?
Covered Greenock north to Tyndrum then west to Oban and south to Campbelltown, anything west of Loch Lomond..
I did a few trips with him, along day...no islands though...

I don't suit white sun specs..
mind you next time I get my eyes tested I might get sunspecs,
I always get transitions on me specs...

I enjoyed any day I helped on the run, obviously not the delivery in every street but you could fair put the miles in then.
He was daft, asked me if he should buy a diesel or a petrol van...
bought petrol..doh.
Winter was something else, he carried a single air bed etc just in case...

Anhyoo, did 12 plus today but called it early as not the best day to wear flou jacket,
must look out big teeshirts...

If it was unfriendly would it have been allowed over the area? Some action would have been taken.

We now have rain, set in for the day by the look of things.
Some stuff stopped, others moved around? Give yourself a week or so to get used to the new regime.
Wet day, plenty of time to catch up now.
