Heard someone on't radio there warning of low water..
in Scotland of all places..
better stock up on beer:laugh:
Looked at water I drank yesterday and it was some Yorkshire spring..
(more likely Mr C sitting at his tap:laugh:)

I've another (aye, another) visit to the big building on Tues, diff dept. but all related..
No fluid intake needed...
Mrs M getting suspicious, might:laugh: think I'm up to no good.
You'll have had the wrong type of rain again.
Can you boil beer to make a cuppa?
What colour were cap. Light blue(Pantone 300C) should be from Yorkshire. Although their office's, same building, are in Lancashire.

Will you be topping up or donating this time.
Wouldn't advise going without any fluid intake. Man cannot live on bread alone.
She could be right to be suspicious, you could be doing anything once they pull that curtain across. Eating cake, chocolate, refreshments, then coming out with a plaster on yer arm as proof they did summat to yer.

How often do you find yourself listening to plants talking. Do you ever find yourself answering back?
You're certain it'll be its happy face. I mean how would you like being stuck in a pot, unable to move.

Baby beets, why not the full size ones.
Used to be done, to some round these parts, by putting them in a large barrel, then filling with strong alcohol. Trouble was, some would tap the barrel.
You got a large barrel...

How's the fruits of your labour looking, decent return on it, or just good to look at.

Aye, probably.
They'll turn out to be black on the inside and inedible.

I am a fat barrel:ohmy:
The guttering is only 2m long (I think:wacko:)
I could expand next year (the plant size not me:ohmy:)
I could sit in a barrel and feed myself some alcohol, much better idea.

I feed the big thing 2wice a week...

Bottom line is..
on the scale I'm doing it, I'd get tons more fruit and veg from a posh supermercado...
It is the fun of doing it....

Well you can't use you then. You could experiment, seeing just how much you can fit in. In the interests of research you understand.
6'6" or 7' I think.
See what you get this year, and what you use.

Is that why you know he'll have a happy face?
And you know where it's come from and what's been used on it.
The watering, the feeding, the worrying about will it be any good, waste of money...

Haven't been out this way in a while but a new 'sign' has appeared n one of the back roads.

Beetroot was a free packet of seed I got with a weekly mag..
I should have done salad leaves or something, thought of maybe strawberries next year....
Definitely various salad leaves...
I'll see.
Spuds in the sacks seem to have 'stuck'..
It gives me something to do....

Sat nights are not my fave,
a beer or two might help:laugh:

Yer spelling is all over the shop, you realise that.

You only grew them because they were free!
I'll not ask what magazine...
Just keep yer eyes peeled for a magazine that's giving away free seeds, whatever they are. As long as the results are edible.
Wrong type of weather, long term this year, for spuds to give a decent return.

Everyone seems to close in for the weekend. Makes them quieter than usual now.

So long as you can still count how many you've had, you'll be okay.

I dunno...
I were thinking about marking it with red crosses on yer mistakes, but some might get the wrong idea.

Thought you were well past the amateur part, try Professional Gardener if there is one with that name.
You fell for their marketing ploy. Was it a monetary lack of self control, or did the free seed seem that good.

Yer own I presume...

Somebody else puts these up, not me:ohmy:
Mags get passed on twice, I don't buy newspapers so the odd mag plus the deal was very good for the year.

"T'weren't me!" Often the first words heard when folk are asked "who did that?".

You can't go around not paying for yer papers, even if there's little in them these days.
Do you all buy different ones, or alternative ones of the same one.
How odd are those you do buy?

There'll be another bike race along soon. They're a bit like buses, nothing for ages then three turn up at the same time.

Enjoy the fruits of your labours. Hopefully you'll have something else with them.

To be fair you've not missed much.
You could be buying different magazines, amongst those you pass them on to twice, each buying a different one.

Said there'd be another one along anytime soon. I were roight!

Love my cycling on TV..
if the racing is mince, the scenery makes up for it..
It's been dry here today according to my WX station...
it needs the rain gauge cleaned out I think as its been wet, wet, wet...
I'll do some maintenance tomorrow if dry...

Suppose it can do. You catch the race along the cobbles.
Always believe the automated systems, they never get such simple things wrong.
Could be new weather station time!
If dry? It'll be dry if you believe your weather station, therefore no excuse for not doing anything outside.
