T'is an afternoon response from myself, Owdo...
It was already at 20 °c down these parts when you posted.
You look "cool" in sunspecs then?
There's still some up there, no need for a hat, yet.
Cool as..

A portly bloke can:whistle:
Warmest day of the year....I think
And why not.

Been out chasing my younger self earlier. Still chasing now and not closing the gap in any way.
You planning on growing bunnies now!
Put yer foot down, and say No. She might listen then...
Aren't you the wrong age range for a water tray toy. Have fun though.
They still giving out points?

Storm due by early afternoon...

I've managed (almost)49 years of getting by on saying 'Yes dear'
Dunno...I let someone else use my money...
The terrible two never appeared, tomorrow I'm reliably informed...
This place to the E is almost gridlocked by roadworks and temporary traffic lights..
Nuts out there..

Sky was an amazing feathery pattern about an hour ago, a BIG usaf plane flew nearby...
even at 21,000 it looked big...
Noisy bogger too.
It's to be cooler....

By far means or foul...

They say the "Lowry matchstick" type people have a harder time in warmer weather.
So far at least. Currently still 20c+ here.

And if the system works, why change it...
They don't mind using your money...
Just empty threats to keep you on your toes, don't fret over it.
We've roadworks in the town centre. One set after another. Not one team talking to the team doing the section next to them, or work within their section. Battery powered lights, all supplied by the same company, don't even "talk" to each other. The batteries have died twice, all of them at the same time!

Otherwise engaged an hour ago, so the state of the sky went unnoticed here.
What way were it headed, and did you check what it were? B-52 perhaps...
Warmer weather headed your way, not cooler...
Coming in over Ireland.

Please send some serious rain, if only for the plants..
It would save Mrs M some work.....

Printed these off..
strawberryguard.jpg

Sized them to fit in my German plastic stack pot thingy....
be interesting, save me using straw...
last year, runner cuttings..
Have spuds in another (need spuds) for the last one..
Maybe not deep enough but we'll see.
Undoubtedly, if anything produces, a certain little miss will gladly pick the fruit.....
She raided my peas last year..
coming to Granny to open the pod...
I ran out of compost again, but there is still no beetroot on the go.

First thought on seeing the picture was it was a drone. On looking further, it was possible to say that one thing it wouldn't be doing is flying. Your idea, answered by someone else without them being asked.
All those GC visits, and you buy German. Were they Aldi or Lidl?
Will they be better than straw for the job, or just easier use.
Must have spuds, look what happened nearly 200 years ago because of no spuds. Everything coming on fine?
How deep are the first you've printed.
Nicking the fruits of your labours, I'd place them just out of reach...
Point out what happened to Eve when she ate the forbidden fruit.
Didn't you tell granny off for opening it.
Nothing showing or nothing planted on yer beetroot front.

All day methinks..
Liddle never had theirs in this year, theirs are deeper...
Pepper plants from upstairs put out last night, an infestation of wee flies...
I have finally cracked the 'flower dropping'..oh well.

My ancestor came across before the famine but a whole coterie of family moved over, and almost took over two tenements next to a gas works...safer doing without spuds...

Must get beetroot started this weekend..

Rain all day. Why'd you want that?
None in so you make yer own. They'll get them in now, you watch...
Said Wee Flies making a mess inside.
"Cracked the flower dropping". Is this one of those there technical terms for use with a 3D printer...

Might explain why you felt drawn there. And yer liking for Guinness.
Were any of them reformed smokers, living next to a gasworks, do you know. You'll not be sowing any spuds! What about that feeling, nice and warm, when you get to sit down and enjoy the fruits(veg) of yer labours.

You're leaving it late this year...

Plants need some aqua...
Peed off about the peppers, youngest daughter has pepper and chilli plant being munched by a beastie, leaves all munched...
My fault for not having an instant fix....

First ancestor was here by the 1841 census, aged 23 so 1818 birth date, his dad was 1795 or about so I'm told by someone who got info from an Irish distant branch, previous to that...who knows..this is the family name but other lines I can take back to the 1600s, I must actually get it all sorted and done for the kids to know...
I have Mrs M's back to 1800s and an ancestor involved in the Clearances..
Very interesting figures in one of her bloodlines.....

As far as I can tell four families moved over between 1841 and 1851 census, I might look a bit deeper into that at some point and try get the date a bit more tied down, normally I only researched like my mum and dad then their mums and dads etc etc, never bothered with any other members as only interested in the straight back bloodlines....much easier that way...
I was too early last year with the beets but compost bought today so I can get sowing, I might just sow straight out...
Had enough for today..

What about using the watering can. Even "Tornado Toodles" could help out on the watering front.
Nothing you can use that'll get rid off them?
If you'd an instant fix ready, do you think it'd have worked.

I've had Mhor's showing up in distant family trees, around the Galway area.

Both sides traced back to this side o'Pennines, and the east coast. Then their movements westwards, and across to Ireland. Then they moved back over here. The two interesting ones on one side are Grace O'Malley and Biddy Early. A descendent of her family dug up a fairy fort and uncovered a hoard of gold. Now in the national museum in Dublin.
Too early last year, possibly too late this year...
Feet up or head for yer bed time...
