They're reporting rain further south, an to the west. Still forecasting it for these parts this afternoon. Clear skies at present.
Make the most of the summer. And keep those plants watered. Rope in Toodles if needs be...

You "creamed up" before you started oiling the decking. Did you have to walk in for it, or was it brought to you.
Heavy rain, dense(thick) fog and sleet forecast so far for today. No mention of sunshine...

Can you still use the hosepipe up there? Try and satisfy their needs by artificial means.

You found some extra time somewhere that you can use, if yer planning on repeat trips.

Isn't the spray be adjustable to a wide spread, giving less power behind it? Thereby avoiding oversoaking things.
The cans are when you get all hands on deck, with a can per person, helping you out.
I remember being told either before sunrise or after sunset, because the drops of water magnified the light hitting it, burning the grass/leaves.
I thought you were planning on doing a John "Two Jags" Prescott impersonation. Now you've explained it, it makes sense. Two sore arms, or both in the same?
It's lousy when you react to them badly. I'm spared most of them due to reactions to them.
Toodles be able to be set to work in the garden when she gets there? Catch them early on the work front. Stand them in good stead when they start school.

Watch you don't over hydrate, might be habit forming.

Been out, supplies and McCafe bought..

I never really notice any difference....

Yer all ready for the shortages then.
Lazy day! There's the fence to finish, watering the garden, watching the cycling on the telly, watching what the weather is doing, keeping cool...

It's not a "once every few years job" then. Not having any I've never had to it, and those that have never seem to touch it with anything.

Even the area around it would have required clearing up afterwards.

I never checked the date if it coincided with the dam being built,
I'm up to my ears with family tree stuff..
the old peepers have gone all googly scrolling through old newspapers..
It's on the back burner until next week again..
