Good morning fine folk:hello:
Sunny morning, having a morning at home, no GMs, no shops, no wee tours...
Mrs M has carte blanche on what to buy for tea (or dinner, if yer posh).
As we say here in Jockland, she's gone for the 'messages'....

That was all I could find in the Endomondo backup..
I found the main ones though....
I could invest heavily in another printer but cannot justify what use I would get out of it tbh
Mine doesn't do the multi-colour print (that I know of), but if I did move up a grade or two, who knows...

I keep asking myself the question 'WHY?'.
I do my plane-related tasks and the CubeSat tasks as well. Sad or what

Chanty?
Round ceramic bedpan:cuppa:
Yer missing a few then...
That you can remember.
You could, but is it worth it. Lottery win maybe...
I'm expecting too much from it by the sound of things then. And I don't fully understand what their limitations are, possibly seen too many high end(five and six figures) printers on the telly in use.

Do you ever give yourself an answer!
Only to those who find other things interesting. They keep you out of mischief/trouble.

Not the "blow the man down" type of chanty then.

Owdo
The summer sun has pushed the overnight rain away, and it looks like it's the start of warmer weather promised.
Whether we beat last years figures, as posted by yerself, remains to be seen.
No spreading stones out the back, fence painting...
Carte blanche, so it might be a surprise tonight at teatime.
Did you give her any "special orders" you want bringing back.

Not bad. Gives you another way of looking at the walk. Are those ridges near the summit, visible in the first picture, actually there on the piece. Or is it the light causing them.

No yellow either!
Yer slacking on the ordering front. Or was all attention diverted to the recent project.

I have yellow....
I was looking for a stone PLA, hard to workout the difference of that and the marble....

Another method..

Taken after the file for the printer is created, just a test...
The descent file has disappeared..
The ridges etc, are from the height of the GPX file; the one above was from a Garmin GPS unit.
I am going to do the Snowdon one as it was my first 3,000 ft plus hill after I turned 60 and it was a different route back down.

That's a relief.
Mid to dark brown?

They are on the piece then, not dodgy photo's.
That looks better and gives the impression that your route wasn't a straight line walk to the top.
I can see you getting carried away on these. Small reminders of where you've walked. All that's missing is the date it were walked.
Seldom gone up and returned by the same route. Ben Nevis being one of two exceptions I can think of.

Yeah, I was thinking that too..
I'll run off a couple of prints tomorrow...
busy, though..

I took the image from the program which creates the file to print,
This is from the creating software..

When you compare it to your first one, there's no comparison. Wins hand down does the second. How does the plastic react to electrostatic electric, and dust.
Which other hills have you lined up, ready for printing?
Busy, sounds as though someone has plans for your time tomorrow.

Was the start point, near a brewery by chance or design. Did it end up being the finish point on yer way down. Done like that, there's no real need to put your track on it.
You'd think there'd be a common standard for map usage, but I suppose the printers end up in places other than the UK.

Printing just now after two 'oops' moments...
my daftness..
I'll decide which ones to do; the Buachaille in Glencoe is a definite, but I'll keep the one I've done, as it was a varied round route.
I think the black is too harsh..
Grey or a stone colour could be the answer, I'll check the length of the grey I have left...it might do.

The brewery was last year, and yes, the Arran passed a brewery, if I remember correctly.
There are breweries almost everywhere now as bad as the galleries everywhere oop N.

Only the two, yer getting better...
Don't be too hard on yerssen. If you never made small mistakes, and realised, there'd be a bigger one looming.
I'll not be deciding which you'll be doing! I don't know what you managed to reclaim from yon computer.
What's done with the stuff you end up trimming off and other bits surplus to requirements.
Ow's about colour coding the walks.
Black is stark, moody...
Grey, what shade?

I was referring to the map in your earlier post, late last night. There's a brewery showing near your start point.
Used to be breweries all over down here, not so many now though.

Call that 3
Been that sort of morning, I could have let the first two go as it's only test pieces BUT..
I waited slightly until the track and text were higher than I did on the third one, which proceeded to fill the base layer in grey....
I'm looking at a couple of PLA stone options....

Domestics are taking up my time, radio break, then check on print and back to the bleach etc:laugh:
Mrs M has school sport morning duties...
Beag is trying to outdo the Bolt man..

Retire?
I now work for my wife....

The brewery in question isn't one of these newly sprung up in yer spare room jobs....
the one I visited last year does a lot of bottling and canning for the smaller ones (apparently)..
I do enjoy a taste of something new I see esp from the land of Jock...
I'll give the Aldi/Lidls of the world their due, they sell a healthy selection.
There is some pisspoor efforts though...

IMG_0187.JPEG

Plenty enough grey,,
Wasn't enamoured with the stone, available which just looked like marble...have ordered a matte grey.

Thar is kippers in the fridge...guess what I'm having for my lunch...

Just heard Toodles balanced bike'd over a mile plus (has to do the same back....

Okay, three "Ooops" moments. Still not bad going.
Test pieces, still!
Does the stone version come with the mortar filling...

Can't you delegate some of yer domestics to Toodles. Get her used to later life when she'll be told to tidy up after herself.
Don't go doing any of them in the wrong order now...
She in charge of the egg and spoon race?
Toodles is in the school sports? Mrs M is being fair to all taking part, no favouritism.

Does the job pay well!

It's the older ones that have disappeared here. Smaller ones sprung up in recent years, and most have gone the same way of the older larger ones.
Nearest old one was half a mile from home. Now gone, although it's still possible to find an odd one of their barrels nearby.
Me, I stick to what I know when it comes to drink. Thereby avoiding the poor attempts.

Let me guess... kippers and you'll be cooking them outside again.

There's yer target set for yer...
