Hiya:hello:
I'm with you,
roll on much cooler temps.....
We gave our fan away last year to one of our kids..
I'm replacing it.
That was the muggiest since we moved..
Managed to sleep okay though...
Stay cool:cuppa:
Seems to be a common complaint in this week of warmer weather.
Will you swinging yer arms around have the same cooling effect of circulating air?
Best laugh was the glamping we booked (with a couple of pals) on Mull..
Bedframes were serious bits of metal, but jeez, so comfortable, copious use of white PVC over scaffolding.
Not maybe like some of the glamping nowadays, but this was comfortable.....

Cool down fluid? Danish shandy......lovely jubbly:ohmy:
I never knew how good it had been until the scorer, who was a youth player with the local club, told me and said I should pop along and get looked at.
Cricket wasn't a thing to be really but I did work alongside a future Scotland batsman in the 70s...

Rounders game early doors so my night until 9pm is taken care of,
I was out early then got lost doing stuff..
Garden (or clover) now cut, boy it was roasting out..
Still not used the cherries, tomorrow....
Rather funnily, Mrs M is making lentil soup with a ham hough (pre-boiled)..
Lots for freezing (after sitting for a minimum of 18 hours)
Some of the glamping sites I've seen are on a level of hotels. The people using them expect nothing like you or I may have used in the past. Bothy's are frowned upon as something just short of cattle sheds. And there's some impressive cattle sheds out there...

Cooldown fluids, this early, you make it sound as though it's been warm.
Nothing produced locally you might have tried in yer experimenting that took yer fancy.
Someone who played on the local team told you you should be checked out. Checked for what exactly?
Cricket just wasn't your game of cricket then, or now.
Name dropper...

Is that their time or our time...
No sheep going spare near you. Save you time and effort, once you've put the time into making sure they can't get out of the area you want cutting.
If there's rain tonight, will yer cherries survive intact after this prolonged dry spell.
Lentil soup made from/with ham(pre-boiled). How will you go about freezing it, without sampling it.
Just under 1mm this afternoon, send it.....
plants need it (oh and bike fettled earlier )
That's a heck of a lot more than has fallen down here. Its supposed to be coming up the west coast from Ireland, so it'll miss us. Unless there's more further south they've not mentioned yet.

'Whirling Dervish' impression incoming.....

Non round here, and I don't think its able to do either at present. Needs a good thunderstorm to get it doing one or t'other.

Don't go getting yerself all hot n'bothered now...
Next step up from a bothy?

Yorkshire had nowt to worry about then.

Was it worth watching. Or, were it one of those where you find yourself questioning yer sanity for watching.
Enough for a cider bath to soak in...

Ee's! Aren't all ships, boats female. Puffers or otherwise...
I did on your advice, and it appears to have been a Scottish TV series.

You've run out!, they say coke is bad for you. But then again they've said cider is bad for you.
Chocolate could kil you, if a large enough box of it were to fall on top of you.
Slight breeze down these parts. Started late last night, still there this morning.

You rest yer weary head.

Game only just finished, at the time of posting?
To the east of me as well. So much for it coming up the west coast.
Didn't wake you did it.

Nah, someone kept moaning they couldn't sleep...
Sod it, I said and got up and got busy,
left the printer running downstairs working,
could hear the thing in the quiet
The game was an early one, even earlier this afternoon, 4.35pm first pitch...
must remember...
Still lighting up the skies big-style off the NE, glad that was missed, cool but breezy here at the Towers..
Wonder what today will bring...

Not fortune, I checked the number for once..

Too warm to sleep?
Early start today for you then. Snooze/nap called for later on before the game starts.
Another Da Vinci Code piece...
Nothing here either. All moving up the east coast, has Ireland shifted location and we've not been told! Or, as more likely the forecasters were wrong again.
Toodles and Co. ...

Ah well, can't blame you for checking.

I found it okay...
i just got up instead of just lying..
Things to do etc etc

Blackbird attacked my wee cherry tree, so I went out and picked the last ripe one, some left for him to come back for.
I'll take what I got....
A couple of pies at least..
I did see another piece that would make a cracking Geocache..
not as techy.
I'll have a look again, had a look for a nearby cache the other week and found it so might have another wee bash at it...

No flashes oop NE but a couple of recent in NI and the border area but not much....
Not seen the kids in ages, we'd a week off

Oh, 10 mm of rain here so far today..

Yer getting used to the warmer weather?
And left yerself with nothing to do during normal hours. It's good that you're becoming familiar with the wee small hours again. All you've to do now is go out walking at that time.
How'd what you were printing, on night rate leccy, turn out?

One cherry, that mean blackbird! Get it and a few of its mates and bake a pie...
If you ain't got it, you can hardly take it. Will it be yourself, Bob The Bakerman, making the pies or will you be delegating.
Yer thinking of making one to put outside for people to find. But unable to open it when found. That's mean!
You getting into this geocaching then.

Nothing down here, other than rain enough to wet the tarmac.
Maybe they think you've forgotten them. I sense a moment coming the next time Toodles turns up. How's the Young Un doing, still pointing upwards, to yer room, whilst he watches yer telly?

Other than the brief shower, nothing like that amount here.

Not long after posting the above, we'd a short burst of rain. Possibly as long as 30 seconds worth.
Now a bit more frequent, heavier, and lasting slightly longer.

I hate summer....well, the weather.
I'm a winter person.

Leccy same price all day..
Email in to request readings to be sent; hopefully, no drama this time.
I'm heading down to start something off once I write this,
Today looks like my normal Monday food fest.
I've the unripe ones for the bird(s)..
de-pipping them will be fun..

I hate this streaming sun in the morning, blackout blind methinks...

Geocaching? got the t shirt etc, over 360 odd found, passes the time...
Beag ? school now...

0.3 mm so far today..
Enough to dampen the pavement
