There's the possibility you'd enjoy it more if there'd been more of it.I hate summer....well, the weather.
I'm a winter person.
Leccy same price all day..
Email in to request readings to be sent; hopefully, no drama this time.
I'm heading down to start something off once I write this,
Today looks like my normal Monday food fest.
I've the unripe ones for the bird(s)..
de-pipping them will be fun..
I hate this streaming sun in the morning, blackout blind methinks...
Geocaching? got the t shirt etc, over 360 odd found, passes the time...
Beag ? school now...
0.3 mm so far today..
Enough to dampen the pavement
There's the possibility you'd enjoy it more if there'd been more of it.
A cold and snow person?
No seven hours night rate up there?
I thought that when they installed those "smart meters" they meant the meters would send the readings in, not that the property owner would be having to do it. Remote access ay, but hardly smart because they don't have to read them.
They could be less than the last readings you sent in...
Did you start once you finished!
You playing with the microwave again...
And how much is being left for yourself by the blackbird(s)?
You'll enjoy yerself when you get started, don' worry.
Couldn't you swap bedrooms, catch the setting sun on summer evenings. Might be easier than a blind.
You don't set out to find them, but will look if yer near them.
Eight am, school! They start early up there.
Grown out of Paw Patrol, leaving the telly for yourself.
Stopped around midnight with the wind returning in place of it here.
The longer nights...Yep, prefer the cold, short days more...
I haven't got a smart meter, anyway, they made a mess of the rollout and everything else.
Imagine how dolally I could spin the wheels on when I key a mike
Shockingly, quick statements this time round..
The sun disappears a bit just about 9.30 am.
1.3 mm rain and a bit breezy..
The longer nights...
You get any discount for doing part of their job for them? What haven't they made a mess of rolling out...
Doesn't bear thinking about, unless you were trying to keep up to it spinning round.
There's seldom a delay when they want to part you and your money. Summat goes wrong it's another matter...
Disappears around 9.30am! That's a short day.
Might be slightly ahead on the rain front, breezy on and off all day here.

No need to water the plants today...

I know they're not as "smart" as those who want us using them want us to believe. Even Einstein in his latest advert, which has been reworded, is now making it clear it's the display he's talking about. Not the meter, which has been done all along.Smart meters just aren't as smart,
I'm surprised they are not mandatory yet...
Big UK brother knows enough about us, what is another intelligence gathering tool?
Back to normal with app statements, so at least that is something.
Shed possible for a few hours, methinks.
Haven't been in a fortnight so best turn up....

There's too many billing companies gone bust over the last ten years, leaving meters that don't work with the new "suppliers" equipment.
I still remember being told that the first such meter that went in here, wouldn't need the person to see the meter to "read it", just be near the property. Never worked, the meter readers still had to read the actual meter. Now we've to read it for them. A saving of £5 per property for them, each reading.
Normal! What's that like?
I suppose it gets you out of the house for a while, and keeps you out of trouble.
You finished cleaning that chair yet?
Well he left his rights to one lot. Nowt dodgy if they want to make the ad look good, although it could be fun seeing them taken to court for not paying.Funny thing about Albert in adverts, in the land of taco, you don't have to pay for the rights, courts told them to bolt apparently, a right dodgy image thing going on..
Stage one meters were the wrong ones I think..
I stayed in as a new toy appeared, meshtastic board.
Not much activity out here, though. I'll try from higher locations at some point.
Yon chair is well gone, cherry pie now cooling.....

Stage 1 were a bluetooth connection, for reading purposes at least. Idea was they could just drive past yer house and connect for the readings. Unable to connect when next to the meter in practice.
New toy! You been playing with it yet...
Maybe the weather has driven them all off. You'll be popping into yer loft?
Good job done on it? Let it cool before eating...
They charged different rates when they still had meter readers. They know when you're using it, so it's not too hard to work out what to charge you for usage.Meter readers? nah, charge diff prices per time of day etc..
At it....
New toy? running.
I'm in a pisspoor UHF area but I'll persevere with this for a week or two but there is very little activity in the area so I'll have a wee jaunt out on the bike and head high (or with Mrs M), I live in hope. I have a dedicated vertical antenna for the frequency but I need an adaptor to connect it.
I haven't been in the loft since the loft ladder got fitted..
Cherry pie was pure sublime....a quarter left for tomorrow.
Story is no one knows how they got the rights.....

Biggest advantage is for them, not the consumer.
How's it running compared to expected to run?
UHF had very little traffic round these parts the last time I checked. Aside from handheld radios some groups used, as did the local activity centre until their base station was broken in a break-in one night.
I've a feeling the only outing, this week, will be chauffer driven. The rain is in for the week, set to get worse as the week goes on.
You live in Hope! I thought you were north of me!
The connector hard come by or expensive?
Good investment, given your usage...
Which of you had the extra helping of the pie, and who'll have the remaining 1/4?
Sounds about right to be honest...
