I hate summer....well, the weather.
I'm a winter person.

Leccy same price all day..
Email in to request readings to be sent; hopefully, no drama this time.
I'm heading down to start something off once I write this,
Today looks like my normal Monday food fest.
I've the unripe ones for the bird(s)..
de-pipping them will be fun..

I hate this streaming sun in the morning, blackout blind methinks...

Geocaching? got the t shirt etc, over 360 odd found, passes the time...
Beag ? school now...

No seven hours night rate up there?
I thought that when they installed those "smart meters" they meant the meters would send the readings in, not that the property owner would be having to do it. Remote access ay, but hardly smart because they don't have to read them.
They could be less than the last readings you sent in...

Couldn't you swap bedrooms, catch the setting sun on summer evenings. Might be easier than a blind.

Stopped around midnight with the wind returning in place of it here.

Doesn't bear thinking about, unless you were trying to keep up to it spinning round.

I know they're not as "smart" as those who want us using them want us to believe. Even Einstein in his latest advert, which has been reworded, is now making it clear it's the display he's talking about. Not the meter, which has been done all along.
There's too many billing companies gone bust over the last ten years, leaving meters that don't work with the new "suppliers" equipment.
I still remember being told that the first such meter that went in here, wouldn't need the person to see the meter to "read it", just be near the property. Never worked, the meter readers still had to read the actual meter. Now we've to read it for them. A saving of £5 per property for them, each reading.

I suppose it gets you out of the house for a while, and keeps you out of trouble.

I'm in a pisspoor UHF area but I'll persevere with this for a week or two but there is very little activity in the area so I'll have a wee jaunt out on the bike and head high (or with Mrs M), I live in hope. I have a dedicated vertical antenna for the frequency but I need an adaptor to connect it.

I haven't been in the loft since the loft ladder got fitted..

Cherry pie was pure sublime....a quarter left for tomorrow.

Story is no one knows how they got the rights.....

Woke up to gulls going nuts outside..
The sods had 'opened' our food bin..
I now have the cleanest, bleachy-smelling pavement...and it's quiet.
It seems they randomly chose a bin each week; intelligent creatures...
It's we who are Gullible for putting them out...
I might send to the land afar as I'm going to 'upgrade' the board I am using for this project..
and a couple of other adaptors are always handy...
