I'd have thought you'd have the location of all the local GC's committed to memory. Along with what the food was like at each.
You didn't end up on someone's allotment, did you!
Could you find it again? Food or no food...

Can't say I've seen that one down here.
The "where there's blame there's a claim" brigade have found something new to market, by the sounds of it.
Early turned to mid-evening/early night due to rain. They afraid the bats will go flying when they swing to hit...
The usual sort of weird here, nothing special...

Some eejit forget tablet......
I've never known such pisspoor internet and phone coverage in all me puff, even the free extra special wifi was slower than dialup..
so never really did much surfing etc etc..
Stood the top of Wales yesterday, called out six times on the radio..
No response LOL
Got 4 possible 5 hits for across the sea..Co. Wicklow so 83 miles was the best and had a quick chat (text style ) with one who responded to mc text out so mucho happy about that, only ACK I received locally (Bangor or Yrs Mon) was from a node high above Manchester I'm guessing so I'll have to track it down.
Home early as our inside fire thingy had been going off, but son had come down and removed the offender, so new one to buy and replace, we just headed back up last night and arrived in Glasgow same time as my youngest was landing at GLA, so a diversion for her, home eventually back of 3, busy day, been a time....
Scream? if only I'd the strength...

Not radio acks, what were they...

My bad, they were Meshtastic acks..
Ankle thing again, it decided to weep so big fancy new hospital, I couldn't say the name obs Welsh.
GP appointment here tomorrow so....................
We took in the views from the Snowdon summit, and after a scare about the wind speed, we made it there. It was worth the money.
4 numbers paid for that part..
A certain building society paid for the accommodation :cuppa:
I'm off to find a replacement inside smoke detector..
Toodlepip..

You've had strong words with yerself...
EE? They rest on their laurels of number one provider down here. Don't like it, go elsewhere seems to be their attitude.
Through England and onto Wales. Tha's getting around for someone your age...
Take the train up, or did you walk?
They say that on a clear day you can see Ireland. I'll have to take their word on it as it's never been a clear day when I've been up there.
You didn't do too bad, four or five hits from across the sea...
Did the one who replied confirm their location to you.
High above Manchester, maybe bored on a plane circling waiting to land...
If yer fire thingy hadn't been going off, you'd still be there? Handy having someone to remove it for you. There were a few military flights into GLA at the start of this week. She weren't onboard one of those were she.
AM? Not a good time, after a long drive to divert... You enjoyed yerssen though, and would do it all again without being asked twice.
Get a cold one and rehydrate, find an empty field and scream in there.

Not just EE....
Mrs M use 2O and had the same problem..
no problem at Snowdon's height..
Choo-choo, c'mon I can hardly walk this weather, big plaster type thing on ankle..
Own Doc to see tomorrow morning...

No, we were coming home today anyway..
Plenty of overnight work going on en-route, best time to do it, as soon as we crossed the border, I could find my power returning..Road was so quiet even as we got to GLA, youngest was happy we diverted..

Snowdon was quite fun, I walked up almost 12 years ago, the train is something else, 60 mins up and down, 30 mins on the top. A bit of a heat haze, but saw Yrs Mon etc.
I'd programmed local (to there) freqs into the scanner, but only had a short listen, but plenty of activity. Now back on to local.
We'll head back at some point in the future..

Location? you can set your location, mine is say quarter of a mile from here, if I'd a GPS chip, I could make it to that.
