A wet and windy start to the weekend round these parts. A gust of 46 mpg last night, and it didn't seem as windy as now. Not certain how much rain, measuring in hours not mm.

Prices will only go one way, especially in the run up to Christmas. Keep Mrs M away from the shops, you'll do yourself a mischief, at the least.

Too late, Xmas planning (for the kids) is well underway.
There are two Smyths catalogues on the table...
Funny one yesterday, we'd headed to the place we intended,
The cut-off was an odd one, so we took the earlier one. I saw a signpost and took the chance, saying 'left.' Five minutes later, voilà, we found an easier way to our destination. I did claim it. I thought this was an easier way..
The look back was 'lyin' git'...
I did get us there?
Our wee motor sat-nav wants 95 quids for a fresh update of maps..one update?
I think a Bobbob type may be bought instead, robbing bassas for the exact same crappy maps that my old 7-inch one from the land across the seas gave us free each year....

You read them, didn't you. Along with playing the part of Santa's representative...
West could cut out the middleman, but there seems to be one or two on the big river place unwilling/unable to ship over here.
