Oh, boy. Storm Mort (or whatever it is called) has deposited 17.8 mm so far, and it's 3 mins short of noon.
Too wet for Mrs M to decorate the tree outside....I'm not that cruel.
You never mess with who cooks most of the meals...

Think this will be a long dayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
We up on "M" already! Don't think we're far behind you. It's stopped for now, at least.
Would she have had you doing it?
That's one thing to consider....

It's half over now though.

Dunno, I think that is what I saw,
They send me weather warnings now by text...
I can't escape...
My footy team are playing a cup game nearby tonight, but hell no in that wind, etc.
Tum rumbles, so food time...
Mince pie test for pudding...

Found out since we're only as far as that well known Yorkshire bedtime story, Dracula.
Personalised weather forecasts, get you...
Who, or what, do you want to escape from? Yer not being held against yer will, whilst being chauffered around various retail outlets, are you...
It'd make for an "interesting" game, one where they try to keep the ball down and the passes short.
Tummy still rumbling?
You've decided on yer winner for the title of Favourite Mince Pie 2025 yet.

They blew it, lost 5-4 on penalties...

Got the other feed back online, now five again.

Nah, more pie tasting sessions needed, Morrisons leading, Aldi icing ones (sadly a two Bob size bite only) but still a fortnight before the winner is declared...
Planes having a tricky time tonight but looks like most got down oop here.

23.7 mm on the clock so still time to break the inch....
Oh well, a windows update wants to install..

They managed to get the game despite the wind, then.

All doing their own jobs, independent and with each other!

You can't delay too long. When you've made yer choice there'll be non left. Just buy a pack from each shop, and give the ones you don't like to visitors, whose palates may not be as refined as yours.
There's a "snacksize" one on sale at a hot food outlet, one bite and it's gone! They're not cheap either.
Edinburgh shut last night after an emergency landing by a BA flight landed there. Manchester had planes in holding patterns for over an hour, around the same time.

You'll break the inch, have no worries.
That'll be a day or more wasted then.

A first for the Towers...

I've got a photo of the plane standing on the runway somewhere on my phone, youngest got it..
Most landed first time last night, don't think any diverted except a big 767 to Man.
Wind was side on so a lot of area to try keep steady...

Wonder what got its fancy in your garden.

There'll be another along any day soon, you watch. With yer phone to hand!

The BA flight that made an emergency landing?
In the right place at the right time...
Watching on ADS-B again last night. Most seemed to be going straight in, to all airports.
Manchester seems to be getting its share of A380's this winter. Wonder what the cost of diverting such an aircraft is?
True enough, keeping a few hundred tons of metal steady, low down, can't be that easy when the wind is up.

It had the spot to see three gardens at once,
Mrs M saw a small bird fly by and off it flew....

If it got the chance of food, it'll be back...

Divert? Depends on airport wx conditions, Prestwick had the reputation of never closing, yet seems to be bypassed although on my first ever holiday abroad, we got diverted there instead of Glasgow, tbh it was a small hassle but rather than skid all over GLA's runway...
It's making money from 'Splash and Dash' Cargo and Mil planes....
Got my Virtual Radar Server going on one of the computers until I figure what's not working. It's definitely a port problem as I have the Rasp Pi VRS running so just trying to remember what the port feed is...
Big PARTY at The Towers tomorrow, a soon to be (tomorrow) three year old will get to blow her candles out.
Looking forward to it...cake...
In typical fashion, one of my other side projects had a 'blip' but hopefully it is all sorted now.
Off to log up.....

That's a sign of a hard winter on its way, when nature comes so close to us. Even if they were scared off when the houses went up.
Easy pickings from any table put out for yer typical garden birds. It'll be back...

Wasn't Prestwick considered too out of the way and too expensive, so airlines moved elsewhere. Maybe the military flights were better business, for them. Fewer passengers moaning, and luggage needing shifting.
Can't have military flights skidding all over the runway.
Leeds-Bradford saw an increase in military traffic during lockdown. Some deliveries, but most seemed to be "touch and go" landings. Day and night, no-one complained I noticed.
Yer Pi's playing up or a case of mismatched ports/dodgy labelling.
You got one of those candles you can't blow out ready?
Three years, doesn't seem that long ago that you were going gaga with her. Nice of her to share her cake with you though. Will it be a case of she can have her cake but can't eat it because everyone else beat her to it.
Yer log pile neat n'tidy now.
