Good afternoon :hello:
A 'Spoons brekkie and pint earlier:cheers:, nice.
Excellent start to the day after two supermarket jaunts..
I had a good laugh in one as it promises to match prices in so many items with a wee German one nearby..
Big competing with getting bigger:laugh:

Owdo
Was the sun above the yardarm? Busy start to a busy day ahead.
You actually sound as though yer enjoying those supermarket jaunts. Even at this time of year.
Those "wee German ones" aren't as small as you'd think. Both have UK operations bigger than either Morrisons(Bradford) or Asda(Leeds). Getting a bigger foothold in the market is what they're doing.

You ready with the candle?

That's a sign of a hard winter on its way, when nature comes so close to us. Even if they were scared off when the houses went up.
Easy pickings from any table put out for yer typical garden birds. It'll be back...

Wasn't Prestwick considered too out of the way and too expensive, so airlines moved elsewhere. Maybe the military flights were better business, for them. Fewer passengers moaning, and luggage needing shifting.
Can't have military flights skidding all over the runway.
Leeds-Bradford saw an increase in military traffic during lockdown. Some deliveries, but most seemed to be "touch and go" landings. Day and night, no-one complained I noticed.
Yer Pi's playing up or a case of mismatched ports/dodgy labelling.
You got one of those candles you can't blow out ready?
Three years, doesn't seem that long ago that you were going gaga with her. Nice of her to share her cake with you though. Will it be a case of she can have her cake but can't eat it because everyone else beat her to it.
Yer log pile neat n'tidy now.

Touch and go tend to be training stuff esp into public airports....Glasgow gets its fair share.
Normally a couple or three then off back to training.
Just worked a David (not required), possibly from God's country No2...(begins with Y)Prestwick now and for a few years had an almost motorway link into Glasgow, Glasgow airport isn't in Glasgow either.

The Pi got its IP address changed so thrown a lot out.
I just redirected the database of planes to a folder on my right hand computer (24/7), hopefully I'll sort out the network link at some point.

Getting to know the various alternate runways around the country as well. Think lockdown saw more of the regional airports being used by the military. Some deliveries at the local one. Which can be awkward to land at.
Brings in money to the airports, which can't be a bad thing for them.
Nowt wrong with Ireland, or do you mean Yorkshire. Not quite attained independence, but we'll get it...
Out to the west, I checked.

Sounds so simple, as in the system should be able to detect and allow for it.
The right hand know what the left hand were doing?

Not contagious is it!

Fair enough.
Have just seen your latest thread. Looking forward to the ride?

I'd be foolish to say I'm not feeling any trepidation but that said, it's going to be one hell of an experience.
The Van Raam distributor in Spain believes this may be the longest ride undertaken on a Velo Plus so it may even be a first!

I'm very lucky to have some young Moroccan friends, who love cycling trips, and will be joining me at points along the route which will definitely help.

So in reality I am very excited about the whole project.

If you've not done owt like it before, there'd be something wrong if you said you'd no trepidation/worries/niggles in your head.

If the dealer believes it might be the longest ride, yet, as well as a first, fit a tracker on it to record the route.
Maybe hold a raffle on the distance covered.
